Subject: Earthly Good?

I am curious if the longer we walk with God, do we become so Heavenly Bound that we become no earthly good? Is it possible the longer we are Christians that we become self-righteous to those who are brothers and sisters in Christ? Are we hiding behind our faith and sounding knowledgeable yet, we are secretly not so smart? How do we measure ourselves to see that we are not like the pharisees, hypocrites and Sadducee of our time? It appears that we speak of our brothers and sister not including God in their lives but how do we truly know that? If I am not quoting scripture with every opportunity am I lacking God in my life? Should a servant of God take every single opportunity to serve the Lord within the body or do we get to pick and choose where our hands and feet may serve? Do we actually have to pray if it is God's Will to help in any area that is available? Curious?
